The Glenville-Emmons Wolverines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 85-43 defeat at the hands of Kingsland. While losing is never fun, Glenville-Emmons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 358th, while Kingsland is ranked 142nd).
Kingsland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sam Snitker led the charge by scoring 12 points along with four steals. Max Erdman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Glenville-Emmons has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Kingsland, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.
Glenville-Emmons will head out on the road to take on Schaeffer Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kingsland, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lyle/Pacelli at 7:15 p.m.
