Basketball Recap: Skyview Skates Past Heritage with Ease

Skyview posted their biggest victory since February 1, 2024 on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Heritage Timberwolves 59-26. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Skyview is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Heritage, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Skyview will head out to challenge Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Mountain View at 5:15 p.m.
