Windsor and Wethersfield are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Windsor Warriors will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Wethersfield Eagles at 6:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Windsor has three straight wins, Wethersfield has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Tuesday, Windsor strolled past Rocky Hill with points to spare, taking the game 67-50.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 54-16, which was the final score in Wethersfield's tilt against Newington on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wethersfield has scored all season.
Windsor has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Wethersfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
Windsor was able to grind out a solid win over Wethersfield when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 53-42. Will Windsor repeat their success, or does Wethersfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
