Copper Hills is 2-8 against Bingham since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Copper Hills Grizzlies will head out on the road to face off against the Bingham Miners at 7:00 p.m. Copper Hills is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Copper Hills came up short against Herriman and fell 55-48. While losing is never fun, Copper Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Herriman is ranked ninth).
Meanwhile, Bingham's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They lost to Corner Canyon on the road by a decisive 68-52 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bingham has scored all season.
Copper Hills has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Bingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
Copper Hills suffered a grim 82-57 defeat to Bingham when the teams last played on January 12th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bingham's Luke West, who scored 22 points.
