While losing is never fun, Grand Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 682nd, while Crestwood is ranked 227th).
Southeast suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Mogadore, falling 77-47. With that loss, Southeast now have a three game overall losing streak to go with their drought on the road.
Southeast's loss came about despite a quality game from Garrett Sprutte, who scored 24 points along with nine rebounds. That was a full 51.1% of Southeast's points, marking the 11th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Grand Valley's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-8. As for Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
