The Pueblo West Cyclones will be taking part in a tournament against the Brighton Bulldogs at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Pueblo West made easy work of Liberty and carried off a 3-0 win. The Cyclones haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pueblo West took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 25-13.

Bricelyn Baudino and Jillian Millirons were among the main playmakers for Pueblo West as the former had nine digs and two aces and the latter had 11 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Millirons a new career-high in assists (three).
Meanwhile, Brighton got the win against Mountain Range on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.
Brighton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mountain Range between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.
Brighton now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Pueblo West, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's match: Pueblo West has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Brighton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
