Two dominant guards in Demarco Davis and Dajuan Riddle are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Lovejoy Wildcats will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Mundy's Mill Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on February 10th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
After a 56-49 finish the last time they played, Lovejoy and Morrow decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. Lovejoy took their contest on the road on Saturday with ease, bagging a 40-10 win over Morrow. The victory was just what Lovejoy needed coming off of a 81-51 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Mundy's Mill earned a 46-35 victory over Alcovy on Monday.
Lovejoy's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Mundy's Mill, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
Lovejoy came up short against Mundy's Mill in their previous matchup last Tuesday, falling 65-60. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Riddle, who scored 26 points.
