Underclassman Evie Davis came into Friday's contest looking to prove herself and that's exactly what she did. She wasn't messing around on Friday, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The pitching appearance was her third straight with two or fewer walks.

Davis' strong effort led Pahranagat Valley over Beatty and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
