As for Heritage, the  victory was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-8. The result was nothing new for the Mountaineers, who have now won 12 games by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
 On Heritage's side,  Autumn Brooke Perrin was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. That's the most  doubles  Perrin has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brooke Gennoe, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Hixson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  a  10-0  win against Lenoir City on the 14th.
