Alta won the last time they faced East and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hawks blew past the Leopards 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The result came thanks to Levi Stevenson's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on McCoy Johnson, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Colton Hall was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Alta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .592. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East only posted an OBP of .241.

The win was the fourth in a row for Alta, bringing their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for East, they moved to 6-11 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Alta will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Leopards: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
