The Catalina Foothills Falcons will be taking part in a tournament against the Hamilton Huskies  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams are still undefeated (Catalina Foothills has four wins , while Hamilton has six dating back to last season).
It was a Battle of the Birds when  Catalina Foothills faced off against Canutillo last Thursday. Catalina Foothills blew past Canutillo 13-2. Fans of the Falcons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+  runs.

 Paden Good was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Ethan McQuade and  Nate Shoemaker did most of the damage at the plate:  McQuade  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4, while  Shoemaker  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Those  hits marked the first that  McQuade  got this season.
 Meanwhile,  after only two  runs in their last  game, Hamilton made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Pinnacle  on Thursday. Hamilton was the clear victors by  a  13-6 margin over Pinnacle. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Hamilton pushed their record up to 6-0 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Catalina Foothills, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
