Despite the defeat, Rocky River had strong showings from Giovanni Lizzini, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and two steals, and Hakeem Zayed, who scored six points along with three steals. It was the first time this season that Lizzini grabbed two or more steals. Julian Patti was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Rocky River dropped their record down to 6-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Avon, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Olmsted Falls will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 467th, while the Eagles are ranked 150th).
