Adding to the longest winning streak in C2 District 4 this week, Archbishop Bergan beat Stanton 32-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Knights.
Oakland-Craig made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,275 from 6,098. The advance stemmed from a 56-24 victory over North Bend Central last week.
Mitchael Sieh was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Mustangs lost to Archbishop Bergan. The 6-foot-0 sophomore recorded 1 fumble.
Jason Hansen threw for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 17-30 with 0 interceptions.
Colton Brdicko provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Seth Mruz's team bested Stanton. Brdicko's favorite target this week was Adam Dykman, who caught 4 passes for 60 yards.
Hansen put up the best numbers through the air as Tekamah-Herman fell to Malcolm. Hansen's favorite target this week was Dash Cameron, who caught 8 passes for 92 yards.
The Tigers' Hansen and Cameron have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hansen has thrown for 971 yards this season, while Cameron has 33 catches for 518 yards. Brdicko from the Knights leads the league in rushing with 616 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Archbishop Bergan takes on second place Oakland-Craig.
The Knights led C2 District 4 in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Tigers.
