Dekaney couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 30-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Port Arthur Memorial Titans on Friday.

Townsend got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 76 yards. Dekaney also got a significant boost from Samaritan Cunningham, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 106 yards.
Dekaney will face off against Paetow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Dekaney focused on turnovers this week as team gave up six on Friday. As for Port Arthur Memorial, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Legacy School of Sport Sciences on Friday.
