It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Williams Yellowjackets can now relate to. They were outmatched by East Nicolaus on the road and fell 49-0. Williams has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
East Nicolaus' win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristan Kotko, who rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Kotko was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. Mason Taylor also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Williams has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for East Nicolaus, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Nicolaus will head out on the road to face off against Colusa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colusa is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
