Greenwood is 0-10 against Susquenita since April of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Wildcats will welcome the Blackhawks at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It was a proper cat-fight when Greenwood challenged Camp Hill on Tuesday. The Wildcats walked away with a 7-4 win over the Lions.

Makenzie Devore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Elyse Messimer, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Walton, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Susquenita put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Line Mountain a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Blackhawks, who have now won 13 contests by nine runs or more so far this season.
Ayahna Fleisher made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Susquenita got a big performance out of Kylah Fleisher, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Braelyn Prinz was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.
Susquenita was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .343 or higher in seven consecutive matches.
Susquenita's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Greenwood, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
Greenwood suffered a grim 18-0 defeat to Susquenita in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Wildcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
