St. David gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They secured a 51-46 W over the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 75-46 loss the last time these two teams met.

Among those leading the charge was Will Migdal, who went 5-for-12 en route to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Marcus Green, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards.

Cape Fear Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Milo? Pavlicic, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 16 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Treyvon Robinson, who posted eight points and five steals.

St. David's has already played their next game, a 46-45 defeat against Arendell Parrott Academy on the 11th. As for Cape Fear Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-46 loss against Wilmington Christian Academy on the 11th.
