The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clarkston in their matchups with Westminster: they've now lost five in a row.
Clarkston's loss came about despite a quality game from Lawerence Reeves, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reeves has scored all season. Na'Shaun Porter was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six assists and two steals.
Meanwhile, Druid Hills had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Stone Mountain on Friday as Druid Hills made off with a 89-68 victory. Given Druid Hills' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while Stone Mountain is ranked 416th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Clarkston has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Druid Hills, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
