University Lab never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against North Vermilion on Saturday. They blew past the North Vermilion Patriots 12-1. The dominant performance gave  McCann a new career-high in  runs. Another player making a difference was  Jaris Hamilton, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.

North Vermilion's defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-4.
