Mangini has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Madden Craig, who picked up 194 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
La Jolla Country Day's defensive line stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Christopher Hughes and his three sacks.
Grossmont's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for La Jolla Country Day, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
