Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delta). They were the clear victors by a 23-12 margin over the North Sevier Wolves on Tuesday. The Rabbits not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 4, 2024 (when they won 16-4).
Delta got a massive performance out of Fallon Johnson, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Johnson has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Elee Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, five RBI, and one stolen base.
Delta was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Sevier only posted a batting average of .250.
Delta's win bumped their record up to 3-22. As for North Sevier, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-14.
As of now, neither Delta nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
