Davis extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 4 this week by beating Kingston, 60-14. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Coalgate and Marietta played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Coalgate eventually emerging with a 24-19 victory. Dakota Powell threw for 109 yards and ran for 63 yards in the win.
Chance Yellowfish provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Konawa fell to Okemah. He completed nine passes for 96 yards and also ran for 245 yards. Yellowfish's favorite target this week was Landyn Dye, who caught six passes for 59 yards.
Alec Hetherington put up the best numbers through the air as Davis defeated the Redskins. He finished with a total of one completions for 55 yards and one touchdown. Hetherington's favorite target this week was Deaundre` Carr, who caught one pass for 55 yards.
The Wildcats' Powell and Trent Delozier have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Powell has thrown for 523 yards this season, while Delozier has 10 catches for 236 yards. The Tigers' Josh Kirkwood leads the league in rushing yards with 1037.
A big matchup in 2A District 4 this week will be when Coalgate takes on Jody Weber's team. Jeremy Reeder's team is currently in third, while the Wolves are in first.
There should be lots of points scored when the Wildcats and Davis face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Coalgate comes in having scored 240 this season, while the Wolves have scored 380. The Wildcats scored 24 points last week as they bested the Indians.
