The Coweta Tigers will be playing at home against the Nathan Hale Rangers at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday. Coweta has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-1 during that stretch of close contests.
Coweta pushed their score all the way to 55 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Will Rogers College by a score of 58-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Coweta has suffered yet this season.
Despite their loss, Coweta saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Noah Cooper, who scored 15 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Garrett, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Nathan Hale got the win against Webster on Friday by a conclusive 73-50. The win was just what Nathan Hale needed coming off of a 59-36 defeat in their prior contest.
Coweta's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Nathan Hale, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
