The Shoreland Lutheran Pacers will head out on the road to square off against the St. Francis Mariners at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Shoreland Lutheran posted their closest win yet this season on Thursday. They skirted past Racine Lutheran 52-49.
Meanwhile, St. Francis entered their tilt with Tenor with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. St. Francis simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Tenor 82-49 at home. 82 seems to be a good number for St. Francis as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
The match pitted two dominant players against one another in Cameron Nerby and Kyrell Davis. Nerby had a solid game and scored seven points along with five rebounds. Meanwhile, Davis did his best for the losing side, scoring 13 points.
Shoreland Lutheran now has a winning record of 7-6. As for St. Francis, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Shoreland Lutheran didn't have too much breathing room in their game against St. Francis in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 61-57 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shoreland Lutheran since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
