The Lake Buena Vista Vipers had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They suffered a tough 41-16 defeat at the hands of Tohopekaliga. Lake Buena Vista lost against Tohopekaliga in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 48-10 score last time.
Lake Buena Vista got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Annali Astor and
Camelia Elmrabti, who each put up five points.
Lake Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Tohopekaliga, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Buena Vista will square off against Olympia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Olympia focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Tuesday. As for Tohopekaliga, they will head out on the road to face off against Poinciana at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
