The Tanalian Lynx lost against the Lumen Christi Archangels back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Tanalian fell 34-26 to Lumen Christi. Tanalian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Amara Warren continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lumen Christi, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Warren is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Isabel Brown, who scored eight points.
Tanalian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lumen Christi, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Cook Inlet Academy the next time they take the court. Lumen Christi will host Cook Inlet Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Tanalian will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
