The Wellington Wolverines will take on the Seminole Ridge Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wellington has four straight victories, Seminole Ridge has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Wellington lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Palm Beach Central, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's match. The Wolverines never let the Broncos get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. Ten seems to be a good number for the Wolverines as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Wellington got a great performance from Greysn Bogdanchik as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Bogdanchik has posted since back in February.
On the hitting side, Foster Solomon was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Thomas Lograsso, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI.
Wellington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Seminole Ridge suffered their closest loss since April 4, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Cardinal Newman by a score of 4-2.
Justin Precanico was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Nikolas Halleran made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.
Wellington's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Seminole Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
Wellington beat Seminole Ridge 4-1 in their previous meeting back in February. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
