Richland County is 0-7 against Casey-Westfield since May of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Tigers will welcome the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Richland County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.
While Richland County's win against Lawrenceville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Indians on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won four in a row.
Natalie Ochs looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Taylor Bloomer was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Miranda Dowty was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Casey-Westfield entered their tilt with Robinson on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They never let the Maroons get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 14 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Ava Goble made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over seven innings pitched. Goble was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Casey-Westfield let Anna Karras and Allyson Truelove run wild. Karras went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Truelove went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Tristan Ring, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Richland County's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Casey-Westfield, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
