Despite the loss, Hatboro-Horsham saw an underclassman step up: Shane Phillips scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Phillips continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ryan Smith was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five assists and four steals.
Hatboro-Horsham has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Upper Dublin, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hatboro-Horsham's road trip will continue as they head out to face La Salle College at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. As for Upper Dublin, they will take on Henderson at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Henderson will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
