Softball Recap: Orange Beach Has No Trouble Against North Penn

Orange Beach's tournament run continued when they took on North Penn on Friday. The Makos put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Makos, who have now won 22 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Teagan Revette was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Taylor Poland, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Orange Beach and bumps their season record up to 30-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for North Penn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Orange Beach didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-1 win against Sparkman on the 18th. As for North Penn, they are taking a road trip to square off against William Tennent at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
