Even though the Hoehne Farmers have not done well against the Kim/Branson Mustangs recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Hoehne blew past Kim/Branson 67-23 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-7.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hoehne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Janae Ramos, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Kaylah Crosson, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Hoehne and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Kim/Branson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Hoehne's road trip will continue as they head out to face Trinidad at 6:30 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Kim/Branson, they will take on Des Moines at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
