Pierce Tully posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
