On Saturday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Crossroad Academy had to settle for a 34-31 defeat against Maclay. Crossroad Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lauren Guyer was her usual excellent self, scoring 10 points for Maclay. Kaitlyn Guyer was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Crossroad Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Maclay, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Crossroad Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Marianna at 5:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Maclay, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blountstown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
