2A Conference 10 recap September 4, 2013
East Davidson's Michael Ramos recorded the longest rushing play in 2A Conference 10 this season in his game against Providence Grove last week. Ramos' team defeated Providence Grove as he sprinted for 64 yards on the play and finished with 123 in all.
North Rowan scaled the state rankings by moving to 78 from 118 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cavaliers were able to make move up by besting Carson 34-15.
On the heels of Austin Wallace and Ramos, East Davidson has had great success on offense. Wallace is tops in the league in passing with 185 yards, while Ramos has rushed for 217 yards this season. Tops in the league in receving yards is West Davidson's Zach Queen, with 95 yards on 4 catches.
The Dragons took down South Davidson 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
