West entered their tilt with Peninsula on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Peninsula Panthers get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Considering the Warriors have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

West's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Peninsula, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

West will be taking part in a tournament against El Segundo at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. West's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so El Segundo's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Peninsula, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-3 loss against Kennedy on the 15th.
