Wilson is 1-8 against Darlington since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Wilson's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
Wilson's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Lower Richland. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Zoey Miller made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing seven bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one triple the last three times she's played.
In other batting news, Wilson got a massive performance out of Sakura Jordan, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1. Jordan is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Martina Taylor was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-1.
Wilson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Darlington's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to West Florence. The match marked the first time this season in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.
Darlington's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Wilson, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wilson has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .542. However, it's not like Darlington struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wilson might still be hurting after the 12-2 loss they got from Darlington in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Tigers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
