Claremore dropped down to 8-3 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 11-0 to the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Zebras' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Pensacola Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games.

For Pensacola Catholic's part, not much got past Reed Rhodes, who gave up just two hits to keep Claremore off the board. Rhodes has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Drew Collins was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Jalen Moton was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Claremore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Pace on the 17th. As for Pensacola Catholic, they have also already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Blanchard on the 17th.
