Benet Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the King Jaguars as they made off with a 60-38 victory. The win was nothing new for the Redwings as they're now sitting on 13 straight dating back to last season.

Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyshaun McPherason, who posted six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cornelius Moore, who earned seven points.

Looking ahead, Benet Academy and EPIC Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for King, they and De La Salle will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
