Wayne Country Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carlos Vazquez, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayleb Coles, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds.
Wayne Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Wayne Country Day, they pushed their record up to 22-8 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
Wayne Christian will take on the Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wayne Country Day, they will head out on the road to square off against the Knights at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
