After a string of three wins, Manor New Tech's's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 95-74 defeat at the hands of Shoemaker. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (73), Manor New Tech still had to take the loss.
Manor New Tech's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Kinard, who scored 19 points. Kinard continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kome Harris, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Manor New Tech's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Shoemaker, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
