When it comes to explaining why Headland lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaxon Williams. Despite the final result, he rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 120 yards and a touchdown.
Charles Henderson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zach Coleman, who rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 57 receiving yards. Jywon Boyd also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Charles Henderson's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Zamir Caffie and his two sacks.
