The Ralston Valley Mustangs entered their tilt with the Legend Titans with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Ralston Valley snuck past Legend with a 46-42 win on Friday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Ralston Valley has scored all season.
Jackson Hansen was his usual excellent self, scoring 14 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Trebilcock, who scored four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Ralston Valley pushed their record up to 10-4 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Legend, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ralston Valley will take on Lakewood at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Lakewood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Legend, they will be playing at home against Rock Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rock Canyon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine contests -- so hopefully Legend likes a good challenge.
