The East Bakersfield Blades''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They blew past West 28-0 at home. The result was nothing new for East Bakersfield, who have now won three matches by 27 points or more so far this season.
East Bakersfield had a senior duo take command as Lorenzo Patino rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry and Tito Santiago rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
East Bakersfield's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for West, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-9.
East Bakersfield will take on Morro Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
