Bishop Brady and Campbell are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Giants will challenge Campbell at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Bishop Brady sitting on nine straight wins and Campbell on three.
If Bishop Brady beats Campbell with 27 runs on Saturday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Giants didn't even let Hopkinton on the board on Wednesday, marking the Giants' second-straight 27-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Giants, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Campbell came out on top against Raymond on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. Campbell blew past Raymond 12-2. Campbell is also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the fifth game they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Braydon White made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Campbell got a massive performance out of Jayden Medina, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and one double. Aidan Kepple was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Campbell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .679. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Bishop Brady's record is now 9-0. As for Campbell, their record now sits at 8-3.
Bishop Brady came out on top in a nail-biter against Campbell when the teams last played back in June of 2025, sneaking past 4-3. Will the Giants repeat their success, or do Campbell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
