Baseball Game Preview: Torres Toros vs. Madera South Stallions

Torres is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Madera South a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Torres Toros will host the Madera South Stallions at 6:30 p.m.

Torres took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Madera South, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Toros narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Stallions 8-6. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Toros as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Amani Sua was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Torres is 3-1 when Sua posts two or more runs, but 5-14 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Madera South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19-1. As for Torres, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.
