The Lucas Cubs won the last time they faced the Mt. Gilead Indians, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Lucas blew past Mt. Gilead 58-22 on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lucas.
Aidan Culler was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Logan Toms , who scored 9 points along with 4 steals.
Lucas' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mt. Gilead, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Lucas will head out on the road to face off against Central Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Gilead, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grandview Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
