On Thursday, Portsmouth faced West Warwick in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Portsmouth Patriots blew past the West Warwick Wizards, posting a 57-24 win. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Portsmouth was led to victory by Annie Hurd and Gyselle Mairs. Hurd dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards, while Mairs went 8-for-15 on her way to 17 points.
