 Brittany Howe made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Elizabeth Heinz was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high.
Eastmont pushed their record up to 14-5 with the  victory, which was their seventh straight  on the road. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for Sunnyside, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record  this season.
 Eastmont will square off against Eisenhower at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sunnyside, they will face off against Pasco at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
