The Shadyside Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Eastern Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
After soaring to 41 points the game before, Shadyside were a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 35-12 walloping at the hands of Monroe Central.
Meanwhile, Eastern put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Green 43-7 on the road. The result was nothing new for Eastern, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Landyn Reinsmith went supernova for Eastern, rushing for 211 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Jace White, who picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Shadyside has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Eastern, their victory was their tenth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 10-0.
