Anclote were the first on the board but had to settle for second in the end in their game against River Ridge on Friday. Anclote were given a punishing 0-35 loss at the hands of River Ridge. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Anclote of the 7-45 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.
Anclote are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3. The win got River Ridge back to even at 2-2.
Anclote will stay at home next week against Hudson at 7:30 PM. River Ridge will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Fivay in two weeks at 7:30 PM.
